What is 30303?

Not near a computer to access GETMUSIC.com? No problem. Now you can take it with you! 30303 gives you access to everything available on GETMUSIC straight from your mobile phone. 30303 is the shortcode for GETMUSIC and a way for music fans to shop for the latest ringtones, wallpapers, and more directly from your mobile phone.

The Technical Stuff

A shortcode is much like a phone number and is generally used by providers of SMS-based services targeted to mobile phone users. Standard text messaging rates apply and you'll need a data-capable phone to access the Getmusic. Check with your mobile phone carrier for details on your phone's capabilities and calling plan.

Get Me My Music!

To get mobile content on your mobile phone, you can send requests directly to the GETMUSIC shortcode 30303. There are a few different ways you can request content:

Keywords

You might have seen an ad, a poster or TV commercial advertising getting ringtones via 30303. To buy our latest ringtones, simply send a text message with the ID code for the ringtone you want to buy to 30303. Type the ringtone ID code (frequently called a "keyword") in the body of the text message and type 30303 (the GETMUSIC shortcode) into the "To:" field. Once you're ready, press "Send" then follow the instructions you receive in order to download your new ringtone.

Keywords can be the name of your favorite artist or a specific Product ID. If you send a text message with the keyword SNOOP, for example, you'll be sent a text message to your mobile phone that contains a link to all of Snoop Dogg's mobile content available at GETMUSIC.

Text-to-Tone

You may have also seen an ad or CD insert that had a bunch of song titles listed with product keywords shown next to them – these sometimes have words and numbers combined together that may look something like SONG2C. In this case, to buy the ringtone, simply send the product keyword to 30303 and you'll receive a text message with a link to purchase and download that ringtone. Simple, fast and best of all – gets you what you want!

GETMUSIC Mobile Homepage

Not sure what you want but want to browse the latest releases or top sellers on GETMUSIC from your phone? Simply send a text message with the keyword GET in the body of the message to 30303 and you'll receive a text message that links to the mobile version of the GETMUSIC homepage.

From the GETMUSIC homepage you'll be able to check out the latest featured songs, bestsellers or browse by artist and genre. You can also use the SEARCH function at the bottom of the page to search for the song title or artist you are looking for. In order to make this easy, you'll find a SEARCH field on every page of GETMUSIC.

Mobile Lists and Alerts

Get news, new music, tour info and other personal message alerts from your favorite Universal Music artists. There are several ways to sign up: via an online form on the artist web page or when prompted to text in a keyword to 30303.

Instructions are provided to you in your confirmation message once you join the list.  To stop mobile alerts for any mobile list at any time you will normally text END followed by the name of the artist.
